French Immersion at HWDSB
HWDSB offers French Immersion programming beginning in Grade 1. It is designed to provide English-speaking children with opportunities to become skilled speaking in French as well as English. Upon completion of secondary school, students are expected to be proficient in French. The curriculum for subjects taught in French is the same as in the English program.
