Highview updates

Good evening Highview families!

Thank you for joining us in our recent Meet the Staff night. It was great to see so many families! Thank you as well for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair. Your generous support will allow Ms. Little to purchase $4,600 in new library books!

Friday October 28th will be a spirit day at Highview. Students and staff are encouraged to wear red, orange, yellow and black.

Students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Monday October 31st for Halloween. Please do not send any props that could be lost and ensure that your child can easily remove their costume to use the washroom. Thank you to School Council who will be providing a bag of buttered popcorn to each student on the 31st.

Good luck to our junior swim team in their meet on Thursday October 27th!

We will be holding a virtual Remembrance Day assembly on Friday November 11th.

Please mark Friday November 18th on your calendars as that is school photo day.

Finally, please consider supporting Highview by buying Domino’s pizza on Thursday October 27th. For each large pepperoni, Hawaiian or veggie pizza ordered at the 1050 Upper Gage St or 1440 Main St E locations, you will pay $10 plus tax and the school will receive $5 in fundraising dollars. All funds raised will support technology purchases for the school. Your child was given a flyer on Friday and a copy is attached below.
