End of Year Updates
Hello Highview Families,
It is almost the end of another school year. Thanks to all of you for supporting our school during another busy and uncertain year. Please stay safe and enjoy your summer.
Bomb Threat Drill
We will be having our last drill on Tuesday, June 28th.
An announcement will be made to all students and they will leave the building, and meet at the same area designated for fire drills.
Report Cards
Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home with students on Monday, June 27th.
The class placement for students for the 2022 2023 school year will also go home on this day. This information will also be on the Parent Portal beginning the week of August 29th, when the school reopens for the summer.
Depending on registration numbers over the summer, there is always a chance for reorganization at the end of September, so class placements are tentative.
End of Year Expectations
Please review expectations with students at school over the next few days. We want everyone to enjoy their last few days in a positive manner.
Students should go directly to class at the start of the day and after nutrition breaks.
Students should ask permission to go to the washroom from their teacher.
Please leave markers in class. Permanent markers such as (Sharpies) should be left at home.
Continue to follow the rules at school for safety: hands-off, no contact sports, no drop-kicking equipment.
Always use kind words, and ask for help from a teacher if you are having an issue.

Congratulations a s well to our Learning Resource Teacher, Ms. Hallford on her retirement. We will miss her a great deal, and wish her the best in the future.
We are also saying goodbye to Mr. Puley. He will be transitioning to Lawfield School in September. We want to thank him for his leadership and continued success in the future.
We will be welcoming Sheri Laws to Highview as our new Vice-Principal (Half Time) in September!
Just a reminder that the last day of school is June 29th. Please wear blue and white or your Highview gear to celebrate!
