Safety reminder after recent report

Dear families,

As you know, at Highview we consider student safety to be our top priority. From time to time, it is helpful to remind students and families about safety procedures.

Recently, some of our students reported being approached by a stranger who tried to give them clothing. The students became alarmed and told their parents. Police investigated the incident and followed up appropriately.

We are reminding students about safety when walking to and from school. We always recommend that students walk in pairs or groups.

We want our students to be aware of their surroundings and to report suspicious activity.
