Highview Update

Hello Highview Families,

Here are a few things happening this week at Highview.

Wednesday September 30 is Orange Shirt Day and also the Terry Fox National School Run day.

Orange Shirt Day is celebrated each year to commemorate the lives and survivors of Canada’s residential schools and recognize the impacts that continue today. Wearing orange shows that we care, and we won’t forget.

Ms. Martin has shared Terry Fox resources with staff and is encouraging classes to run or walk on Wednesday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.

A big thank you to all Parents/Guardians who are wearing their masks on the playground and saying goodbye to students on the green space. Thank you for keeping Highview safe!

Thank you,

Mr, McLean and Mr. Contant
