Congratulations to Mr. Wendt’s class for winning the Kilometre Club Challenge last week! Kilometre Club will be running today during the 1st nutrition break. Lets see who will win this week?

The D and D club will meet during 2nd nutrition break today!

Last call! If there are any grade 6, 7 or 8 students interested in joining an intermural floorball league, please see Mr. Mitchell at 1st nutrition break in room 209 to sign up.

Thank you to all the classes who submitted a Golden Feather Form for last week. As a school we have been doing a great job of being kind and building up our GLA community. This week the winners of our Golden Feather trophy are class 2A and 78C!

Class 2A – After coming so close last week, class 2A did a great job showing kindness and community this past week. They have been holding doors for people and have been cleaning up their space together. People are helping when others are hurt and they want to make people smile. When they see someone sad, they gave happy notes to make them happy. They have been working hard on listening to others when they are talking.

Class 78C – Worked hard to support Community by volunteering to teach other classes the Golden Feather Art project. Even students who sometimes struggle with being leaders stepped up to be helpful as students learned this Art task. We are excited to see the golden feather master pieces displayed on May 3rd during our GLA Spring Crawl from 5 to 7pm.

Remember for this week GLA- We can focus on ONE person and chose a kind thing to do for them!
