Dalewood School Council – Parents Reaching Out Grant

Hello!

Dalewood School Council has received a Parents Reaching Out (PRO) Grant to encourage parent/caregiver/guardian engagement in support of student achievement and well-being.

Over the next few months, you will be hearing more about the various initiatives that are being planned, including: garden boxes, cooking videos, a farmer’s market, and website resources. The overall theme is “Our Food” and promoting well-being.

We are working on compiling some food and wellness links and resources for the community and need your input. What food-related topics would you like to learn more about? Please click on the following link to complete a one-question survey.

The survey will close on Friday, March 21, 2025.

We will then compile some web-based links and resources that address your areas of interest and make them available throughout the year through the school newsletter and the other “Our Food” initiatives.
