Dalewood School – Week of September 18th….

Dalewood Community……Please see below for some of what’s happening at Dalewood School this week…..

POPCORN SALES – Tuesday, September 19th is Popcorn Day. Popcorn will be sold for $2 during the eating portion of the first nutrition break. Students should come directly to the foyer after the outside portion of nutrition break. (Ms. Parsons)

FIRE DRILL #1 – Dalewood School will hold its first fire drill of the school year on Wednesday, September 20th at 1:20 p.m.. This will be the first of 3 drills this fall, with the following 2 drills being unannounced/a surprise to all. (Mr. Pellizzari)

SR. BOYS’ BASEBALL TOURNAMENT – The sr. boys’ baseball team will be taking part in the HWDSB AA2 Division Baseball Tournament at Memorial Park in Waterdown. (M. Boissonneault)

TERRY FOX RUN – Dalewood’s Terry Fox Run will take place Friday, September 22nd.  Bring a toonie or donate on the website for Terry Fox Foundation. (Ms. Parsons)

GAMES CLUB – Games club will be starting this week, Day 3 on Friday during the second break in the Art room for anyone who likes tabletop games or roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons, please join us for some fun. (Mr. Matic)

PICK-UP BASKETBALL – Ms. Coburn and Mr. Kendall will be offering basketball pickup every Friday Morning starting at 7:45 am in the gym. Open to all grades! (Ms. Coburn and Mr. Kendall)
