Our School
Billy Green School is located in the Upper Stoney Creek area on Paramount Drive north of Mud Street.
Built in 1981 under the former Wentworth County Board of Education, the school was named after the local War of 1812 hero, Billy Green. Billy Green is home to approximately 500 students. Programs include Full Day Kindergarten, Grades 1 to 8 and Junior and Intermediate Comprehensive Communication classes. The school has a gymnasium which doubles as an auditorium for assemblies and presentations, Learning Resource Centre, instrumental music room and a Learning Commons (Library). Billy Green School houses a before and after school child care program which is run by the Y.M.C.A.
