Food Drive & Mitten Tree (Dec 5-16)

BG Families,

Billy Green is excited to announce our annual Food Drive starting Monday December 5th through Friday December 16th, 2022.  All donations will go to Hamilton Food Share (https://hamiltonfoodshare.org).

Hamilton Food Share helps 23 food banks and meal programs in neighbourhoods across the city of Hamilton and Stoney Creek. Our item goal is 500+!

Some items you can donate are non-perishable food items (grains, fruit and vegetables, protein), personal care (diapers, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, laundry / dish soap), and/or school safe snacks (nut-free granola bars, fruit/applesauce packs, juice boxes, etc).

Please ensure all packages are sealed, food has not expired, as well as cans donated were not frozen.

We are also working to fill our Mitten Tree with new and gently used mittens, scarves, and hats for the students at Billy Green!
