National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism
You may notice that our school flag is flying at half-mast today. We are doing this to recognize the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism. We are fortunate to live in a society that recognizes and values our differences. We resolve our disputes peacefully. We can help create a world that accepts other cultures, religions and orientations. Each June 23, we can lower our flags to remember victims of terrorism. Every day, we can also work to build a more peaceful world.
