Hold and Secure Today

This letter is to inform you that Highview, Huntington Park and Sherwood entered a Hold and Secure response yesterday.

Hold and Secure requires the building to be secured and all persons to remain in the school due to a safety situation in the neighbourhood not related to the school.

The schools entered into a Hold and Secure at the direction of the police around noon. The Hold and Secure was lifted by the police shortly after. School activities continued to function normally, but no staff or students were allowed outside of the building.
