Brief evacuation after fire alarm

Dear Families,

This is a letter to let you know that we briefly evacuated our building this morning after a report of smoke from a ventilation unit.

Hamilton Fire Department responded to the alarm and cleared the building for re-entry before 9 a.m. Students and staff were outside for about 20 minutes.

There was no fire, and all students and staff were safe. Contractors arrived quickly on site to investigate and resolve the issue.

We thank students for their cooperation and staff or their leadership during this situation.
