Brief evacuation after fire alarm

Dear Families,

This is a letter to let you know that we briefly evacuated our building today after a smell of smoke in our gym.

Hamilton Fire Department responded to the alarm and cleared the building for re-entry around 1:40 p.m. Students and staff were outside for 15 minutes.

There was no fire, and all students and staff were safe. The smell related to boiler work in our basement.

We thank students for their cooperation and staff for their leadership during this situation.
