Winona Family Movie Night
Families are invited to join us on Friday, November 15, 2024 @ 6PM
Entry is free. Bring your own snack or purchase snacks at the event.
Profits will support sport and athletics for our students.
Our Lost and Found is growing once again (click on the photo for enlargement). If your child had lost or misplaced items, please remind them to stop by our lost and found table by the office. Alternately, families are welcome to look through this area before or after school. We will do our best to return labeled items, but items that are not claimed will be donated.
Winter Vendor and Family Fair – School Council is in the initial stages for planning a Winter Vendor and Family Fair. If you know of any vendors that may be interested in attending our fair, please pass on our School Council email ([email protected]) for further information.
Gr. 7 & 8 Fall Fun Day – For Winona’s Grade 7 and 8 Fall Fun Day, our teachers are asking for snack donations of chips (small sized bags) and pop (cans of Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, Crush or juice boxes). If you are able support us, please send your donations to school with your child.
Boundary Review – A message was posted to families on October 24. Transition to Secondary – Students and families were invited to learn about secondary school by attending the Getting Ready for High School Virtual Information Session on October 23, 2024. A recording is available at the link above if you were unable to attend this virtual session.
Additionally, Grade 7 and 8 students and families are invited to visit their future secondary schools and learn more about HWDSB programs at upcoming Grade 7 & 8 Information Nights. Orchard Park’s evening is planned for November 21 @ 5 pm.
