Supporting Families – Events, activities, food days, and excursions are planned with all students in mind.   Please reach out to a trusted staff member if there are barriers to your child’s participation in any school activity or event.  Our staff can work with each family to provide the required support for participation.

Attendance – This is a busy time of year for many families and acknowledge that some may have plans that require out-of-town visits.  We remind you to enter your child’s absence if they will not be at school due to early vacations or out-of-town visits.  Parents can use SchoolMessenger, email, or call the school office.

Snow Clearing – With today’s winter blast, we wanted to communicate the HWDSB snow-clearing guidelines.  Snow clearing is a shared responsibility between board staff, contractors, and city staff.  Specifics can be found by following the link below.  New this school year, contractors will also be clearing approximately half of our asphalt area.  As conditions change rapidly,  be sure to take your time on wet, cold, and snowy mornings even in areas that have been cleared.   Snow-clearing-Infographic-revised-Oct-2022 (hwdsb.on.ca)
