Attention: Water Flooding in Large Parking Lot Today

As so much rain fell last night and today, we have a large amount of water in our main parking lot today.  The catch basin drain is working at full capacity but water is draining from the frozen ground in the neighbouring vacant lot faster than the drain can take the water away.  This will make dismissal challenging.  Staff will be present to help guide families as they return to their cars beside the bus lane.

Some cars will need to park along Lewis Road and walk to the school as the lot will not handle all the cars.  Cars should not stop in the parking lot but rather circulate until a spot becomes available or park on Lewis Road.  We appreciate your cooperation as we deal with this challenge this afternoon.

We ask that everyone be patient with each other and always remember we are an example to our children even in frustrating times.
