First Day Information

Hello and welcome once again.  Here is some information about the first day of school at Tiffany Hills.

School begins at 9:00 AM on Tuesday September 3, 2019.

All students, those new to Tiffany Hills and those who are returning, should go directly the gymnasium on the first day.  Find the class lists under the Grade sign posted on the wall.  When you find your name, you will see the teacher’s name and you should line up/sit under the teacher sign.  The signs will be posted all around the gym, and teachers will be available to help students find their name and class.

It will be busy and a bit crowded but be patient and we will make sure that each student has found their class and teacher.  Because of the larger number of students this year, I would ask that only the parents of new students and those of grade 1 students accompany your child to the gym and only if necessary.  Teachers will be on site to greet buses and escort students directly to the gym where we will help them find their class.

Our nutrition breaks will be at 10:40 and 1:00 for 40 minutes each.  Make sure to bring a lunch that lasts for both breaks.

Students will be dismissed at 3:20 PM from the gymnasium on the first day.  This will ensure that each student finds their way home whether by bus, parent pick-up, or walking.  If you are the parent of a Grade 1 student who is picking your child up, please meet them at the main entrance of the school.  Students being picked up will come to the front entrance near the office to find their parent.
