We are excited for our various sports teams who participate in HWDSB events to have these opportunities with thanks to staff who are giving their time to provide these experiences. We do require all students who are spectators to have their own parent/caregiver in attendance if they are coming to watch games at the school. We have had some parents with multiple students including students who are not their own children with them during the game. We cannot allow this to happen as we have had multiple safety concerns where students are letting others into the school as well as taking pictures and videos without consent. Due to these safety concerns, the ONLY students who can stay to watch games must be in direct supervision with their own parent/caregiver. The current sport activity where this will be in place is for the basketball season.
