A message of condolences from HWDSB Chair and Director

The following message is from Alex Johnstone, Chair of the Board and Manny Figueiredo, Director of Education about the passing of Jude Strickland. The flag at the school will be lowered as we show our respect to the Strickland family.

“We are deeply saddened to learn that an 11-year-old Templemead student has died from his injuries after a traffic accident.

Words fail us as we express our empathy for what Jude Strickland’s family and loved ones are going through. Our thoughts are with them.

We will continue to support Templemead students, staff and families in this difficult time. We are a caring community that can help, even as our hearts are broken.”
