PROM PROJECT HAMILTON 2026

Prom Project Hamilton will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary (1715 Main St E., Hamilton). This annual “pop-up style” event provides students with the opportunity to select formal wear – free of charge – for proms, graduations, banquets, and other special events.

The event is open to all HWDSB students. Students may select one complete outfit at no cost. Additional outfits can be purchased with a $20 donation to Prom Project Hamilton. An onsite alterations team will offer minor adjustments (as time allows). Three change-room areas – Male, Female, and All Gender – will be available, along with pop-up rooms for additional privacy. Our inventory is based entirely on donations; therefore, sizes, colours, and styles are limited.

Student Registration Requirements:

• Students must register for an appointment time.
• Registration is first-come, first-served and closes March 25, 2026.

Donations of Formal Wear

We welcome new or gently used:

• Gowns, suits, dress shirts, vests, dress pants, formal dresses
• Small men’s suits, large boys’ suits, plus-size dresses
• Accessories: ties, bowties, belts, new dress socks, shoes, jewelry, hair accessories, purses
• Sewing notions for Alterations
