Senior Swim Team (Grades 6-8) – Information
Dear Rockton Families,
Senior Swim Team for Grades 6-8 will be coached by Mme Prentice and Mr. Schulze. An interest meeting took place (Wed. Feb. 25) to confirm numbers and permission forms were handed out end of day (Wed. Mar. 4). If your child was away and is interested, please have them speak to one of us to pick up a form or email Mme Prentice at [email protected]

All Practices:
Location: Dundas Community Pool
Time: (8:00am – 9:00am)
Parents/Guardians are responsible for driving their child to practice and back to the school. Rotating driving arrangements with another family is a suggestion that may make mornings easier, as this is the only time available for us to practice before the Meet.
Swim Test:
Students will perform their Swim Test in front of Lifeguards at the Dundas Pool on Wed. March 11. They are required to do 2 widths of the pool (any stroke), not touching the bottom of the pool. If successful, they are permitted to stay for the 1st Practice and participate in subsequent practices.
Final Swim Meet – Details:
Location: Jimmy Thompson Pool (Hamilton)
Date: TBD (April 29 or May 1)
Time: TBD (9am or 1pm)
Event is 1.5-2hrs in length. Families are responsible for driving their child to the Final Swim Meet.
