Halloween at Rockton

Dear Families,

Halloween will Fall on a Tuesday this year (October 31st).  Students are welcomed to wear costumes, orange and black, crazy hair, or whatever you feel comfortable wearing.  If students choose to wear a costume they MUST follow these guidelines:

No weapons, masks that might impede vision or inappropriate images.

Students wearing a costume should come to school dressed in the costume and comfortably be able to wear the costume for the duration of the day.

Costumes should never be a representation of someone’s creed, race, belief’s or personal identity.

Classroom teachers will communicate class specific celebrations.

We will also be having our annual Halloween Parade.  Parents will be invited to attend if the weather cooperates.  If it is inclement weather, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any parent guests, our apologies.

If the weather is good, please gather out back at the blacktop area.  The children will start the Parade inside at 9:30 and then make their way outside.
