June Update!!

We made it to June!  This month will continue to be a busy one as we wrap up the 2022-2023 school year.  A few things to bring to your attention in the coming weeks:

1.  June 2nd is a Professional Activity Day.  There is no instruction for students on June 2nd.

2.  There are a number of excursions taking place – please remember we cannot have students participate unless we have signed consent forms returned.  Any students who do not participate will remain at school with another class and a program assigned by their educator.  Please note: finances are not to be a barrier to participation – should you wish to discuss a subsidy, please speak with Ms. Rizzo.

3.  Commencement – Our Grade 8 students will be formally ending their Elementary School Years on June 22nd.  The ceremony is at 5:30 p.m. here at Rockton Elementary, followed by refreshments and a dance for students which concludes at 9:00 p.m.

4.  Report Cards – These will be carried home by students on June 27th 2023.

5.  Class Placements – Families will learn of class placements the week of August 28th using the Parent Portal.  If you have any difficulty accessing this information on the Portal, please contact our offices, which will reopen August 28th, 289-345-4555 and we will assist you.
