Water interruption

Dear families,

I wanted to inform you that the pump on our well broke today.

As a result, we provided students with bottled water when needed. Students were still able to use the washrooms, as staff manually flushed the toilets.

When we discovered that our school did not have running water this morning, we contacted Hamilton Public Health Services.

HWDSB Facilities staff visited to school to set up hand-washing stations, and to ensure that toilets could continue to operate.

A technician was sent to the school to fix the pump. We expect that toilets will be working for students tomorrow.
