Resuming Extra-Curriculars

As you may have heard, Public Health has approved schools to return to low contact clubs and activities.  This means that some activities will be resuming at nutrition breaks.  Please consider if you would like to have your child return to these activities if they participated previously, as I know that some families may not be comfortable with this yet.  Note that this is one of the few times that we allow the mixing of cohorts.  Students wear masks and practice distancing as much as possible but they are in mixed groups.  Should a participant ever test positive, and if it is reported to me, I will include this information on the web site withe the other Covid notifications.  Teachers will continue to keep lists of participants so that we can determine which groups need to be notified.

Some of the activities that will resume soon include volleyball club (Grades 6,7,8), chess club (Grade 5) , and drawing/art club (Grades 3 and 4).
