Welcome Back!

Hello Parents and Guardians,

I hope you enjoyed a healthy and happy summer and that everyone is excited about a new school year!

There will be more information shared in the coming days but I thought I would share a few key highlights:

1.  Here is the Calendar for the School year that lists the holidays and the Days of the Cycle: Elementary and Secondary SYC 2021-2022
2.  Here are the Bell Times – Note that we do not start classes until 9:15 am this year and that students cannot be dropped off at school until 9:00 am.  (Before and After School Child Care is available for a cost): 2021-22 Rockton Elementary Bell Times for Parents
3.  The class lists are completed and I am hoping that the Board will open up the Parent Portal to share Homeroom Teacher information.  If you do not receive notification, I will ask teachers to connect with you via phone or email.  If you still have not heard anything before the first day of school (Wednesday, September 8th for Grades 1 to 8 and Thursday September 9th for Kindergarten) , rest assured that we will help each child find their teacher as they enter the rear playground.  Here is a list of the teachers for the 2021-22 School Year: List of Teachers 2021-22

5. Busing information should be available in the Parent Portal.  If you have trouble with the Parent Portal, we can help reset your password by emailing the school – [email protected]
