Reminder: Remote/In-Person Elementary School Transition 2021

Dear Elementary Parents and Guardians,

This is a reminder about a decision families can make about their child’s education during this pandemic. We know it is even more challenging now as HWDSB is included in the remote learning extension to February 10.

As communicated in our December update to families, we are moving forward with our elementary transition between remote and in-person learning on February 25. Based on this date and our previous commitment to a February transition, we are gathering the information now.

Families who wish to switch learning models between remote and in-person on February 25, must complete the Elementary Transition Between Remote and In-Person (Optional Request Form). 

The form is available in the Parent Portal until Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Only complete this form if you would like to request a change in delivery model.

If we do not hear from you, your child/ren’s placement stays the same.
