“Toonies for Terry’s Dream” …

On Thursday September 27 (rain date Monday October 1), Queensdale students are invited to bring in a toonie ($2) which will be given to the Terry Fox Foundation. Grades JK-8 will participate in a walk/jog around the school. The walk/jog will begin at approximately 1:30pm and will last for one hour. (Please note: JK/SK classes will participate during their outdoor playtime.)

All students should dress appropriately for  the weather, wear running shoes, a Queensdale t-shirt (if they have one), a hat and/or sunscreen. Students should also have a water bottle.

Thursday September 27 will be a great day to celebrate the accomplishments and vision of an outstanding Canadian.
