
Mount Hope’s Upcoming Virtual Parent Engagement Night
SAVE THE DATE – Thursday June 15th at 7PM
Mount Hope Elementary School is proud to support with the approval of the PRO (Parents Reaching Out) Grant from HWDSB, a virtual presentation on Raising Good Humans: Keys to emotional intelligence in children by Jennifer Cremieux, a registered psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical practice.
Jennifer has extensive knowledge in child development, acute mental health, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, sports psychology and family issues. Her primary theoretical orientation involves a cognitive behavioural and mindfulness approach to promote change and wellness. During the presentation, Jennifer will cover topics like what is emotional intelligence and why it is important to learn about, who can teach children about emotional intelligence and how do we nurture it. She will also cover learning how to recognize feelings, emotional regulation and coping strategies.
This event hosted Thursday June 15th virtually via Zoom at 7PM is open to the all of our Mount Hope Parents & Caregivers. Information and details on accessing the session will be sent to all families via School messenger closer to the date. We anticipate a great evening for our Parents/Caregivers and look forward to an engaging evening with Jennifer Cremieux! We hope you are able to join us!
