November Message

Dear Mount Hope Parent(s)/Guardians,
As we welcome the month of November, we look forward to our Character Builds focus of Courage that supports our day of significance being Remembrance Day this upcoming Wednesday November 11th. Our students have been immersed with lessons to acknowledge and respect our upcoming day of significance with artwork, poetry and storytelling to help them appreciate November 11th.  Our classrooms and hallways are illustrated with student work showing the lessons they have and are continuing to learn. We will have a school announcement prior to the 11th hour on Remembrance Day with a school wide moment of silence at 11 a.m.
As we work through this calendar year, please be reminded to read the important messages sent by the Board to ensure that you have an opportunity to respond to questions, surveys and have access to information that may impact your child’s school year. If you haven’t subscribed to our school website, we encourage you to subscribe on the main page to get system updates automatically sent to your email address.
Thank you for honouring our school site procedures and policies to ensure efficiency with student entry and dismissal routines.  It is important to be mindful of drop off and pick-up locations particularly as we anticipate a change to our weather with the winter months ahead.
Please rely on connecting with your child’s homeroom teacher via email or the use of the agenda if you have any questions to support your child.
On behalf of the Mount Hope School team we wish you an enjoyable month of November!
Sincerely,
Ms. N. Radojevic – Principal
