Final Week of School

Wow! It’s hard to believe that the year has finally come to an end and the sunshine has arrived just in time. Earlier this week we celebrated our Grade 8’s graduating, it was a lovely event and all the students have so much to be proud of. We wish them much success next year in high school.

Farewell to Staff:

There are many staff moving on to other opportunities within the Board, and a few of our Long Term Occasional staff’s terms have come to an end. We are saying farewell to everyone on Monday during the year end assembly. Please join us. It will begin at 11:15 am in the gym.

Retirement:

A very special farewell to Mrs. Dada who will be retiring at the end of this week. She has supported so many students here at Mount Hope school for many years. Her dedication to our students will be missed. We are wishing her a wonderful retirement with her family and friends.

School Dance:

On Tuesday every grade will gather together for a dance in our gym throughout the day. School Council will be selling popcorn, candy and snacks for $1.00 each. This event will be cash only on Tuesday.

Report Cards:

Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home on Wednesday. Please sign and return the last page on Thursday to your child’s homeroom teacher. Information on your child’s next year’s class and teacher will be on a separate form in the report card envelope.

Last Day of School:

Thursday will be the last day of school. Wishing everyone a healthy and safe summer vacation!
