Here comes June! There is much excitement in the air and around the school. As we head into the last month of school there are several upcoming events and activities for our students.  We are looking forward a wonderful month of continued learning as we head into the final weeks of the school year.

 

Ned Show assembly: our students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 had a presentation today from The Ned Show. It focused on Never Give Up, Encourage Others and Do Your Best. The philosophy of a growth mindset is highlighted through learning to yo-yo.

There are yo-yo’s from the show that can be purchased on school cash online until next June 7th. All orders will be handed out next Friday. Students are reminded that yo-yo’s purchased are for home use and need to taken home.

Grade 8 Families: please send in or email a photo of your child in their younger years  (baby photos or kindergarten/primary grade photos) to be displayed during part of our Graduation ceremony.   We would like to include every Graduate.

Yearbooks: we are currently working on the yearbook. If you would like your child’s picture removed from the yearbook please contact the office by June 10th. There will be class photos (including first and last names) and group photos throughout the yearbook. We are looking at a September delivery date due to a scheduled maintenance service for our printing provider that has pushed printing to the summer.

Arrangements will be made for those students moving on from Mount Hope school to receive their yearbooks.
Information on ordering will sent out next week.
