Important Reminders

The sun was shining during Friday’s Beach Day at Mount Hope School. It was exciting to see many students and staff in the spirit and looking forward to warmer weather ahead. Our school gathered in their Houses for some community building activities – Name that Tune and Beach Bingo was a lot of fun!

Congratulations to our girls’ basketball team in their semi final win! The girls head off to the finals on March 19th at  Delta High School. Please come out to cheer them on – Go Mustangs!

Our checkers team participated in an exciting event last week. As it was the 50th year of the tournament the Guinness Book of Records was in attendance and they tried to break the record for the most people playing checkers at a time — it unofficial right now but our fingers are crossed for HWDSB!

Online Safety – as many students are home this week, it is a good opportunity for families to review some simple safety tips. Please see the memo posted on our school website for more information.

March Break begins this week. We wish everyone a safe and refreshing March Break – we look forward to seeing everyone back on March 18th.

Greenpeace Presentation – Grade 5 and 6 parents/caregivers are invited to join us on March 22nd
