Office Administrator Staffing Announcement

Dear Families,

We would like to share some bittersweet news. Our Office Administrator Mrs. Beattie, has accepted a new position as an HWDSB web/graphic designer. Mrs. Beattie has an educational background in integrated digital media, graphic design and website development and this is an exciting new opportunity for her. We know she will be an asset for the Communications & Community Engagement department and will bring a unique lens and skill set from her experience as an office administrator. 
 
This was a very difficult decision for Mrs. Beattie as she loves the Helen Detwiler students, staff, and community. She is a valuable member of the Helen Detwiler staff and contributes so much on a daily basis. She will be missed by all.
 
Mrs. Beattie’s last day at Helen Detwiler will be Friday December 23rd. We will begin the staffing process for our new office administrator in the new year.
