A Note from Mr. Azzopardi

Good afternoon Helen Detwiler Families,

First and foremost, I would like to thank each of you for your support over the last 2 and 1/2 years at Helen Detwiler.  Over the course of our time together, we were able to grow as a community and for this, I am truly grateful.  Supporting your children has been a wonderful experience and one that will not be forgotten.  Helen Detwiler Elementary will always hold a special place in my heart.  I am confident that our team of educators will continue to support your children and continue to provide them with the best learning environment.  

As of February 1st, 2022 I will be moving to Westwood Elementary School.  Mr. Ro, the current Principal of Westwood, will be the incoming Principal.  This name may be familiar to you as Mr. Ro was a former Vice Principal at Helen Detwiler.  

My official last day at Helen Detwiler will be January 31st, 2022.   

Again, thank you for all of your support over the last few years.
