Parent Portal & Office Staff Support – Week of January 18th -22nd

As you may be aware, HWDSB will be opening up the Parent Portal for those families wishing to make a change from their current learning mode. Families wishing to make a change from in-person learning to remote learning or from remote learning to in-person learning must submit their request through the HWDSB Parent Portal by Sunday, January 24th, 2021 @ 11:59pm.
Please know that our goal is to meet parental requests; however, we may be unable to do so if space does not exist. Also, there will be another transition point in the spring. More details will be forthcoming from our board.
If there is no change to the current learning model for your child(ren), there is no need to submit a request through the portal. Please refer to the announcement made by HWDSB on January 14th for specific details. The announcement can be found here
In light of this information, Office Administrators from Helen Detwiler will be available to support you with Parent Portal, via phone, during the following office hours:
Monday, January 18th: 8:30 – 11:30am
Wednesday, January 20th: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Friday, January 22nd: 12:00pm – 3:30pm
Outside of these office hours, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: PARENT PORTAL SUPPORT.
Please note that voicemail messages cannot be accessed after 3:30pm on Friday, January 22nd, 2021.
