Food Drive Challenge

Good Morning GLA.  It is time for our next colour house challenge. This Challenge will begin next Monday, December 9^th and run through until Thursday, December 19th.  The challenge will be to see what colour house can make the most food item donations to go to The Hamilton Food Share.  If you could make one donation it would be very helpful to a family in need.  A can of soup, a box of macaroni, a box of crackers are all examples of items that could be donated.   For each item that is donated you will earn 10pts toward your colour house.

Kilometre Club

Good Morning GLA runners!  The Kilometre club will be running today during the first Nutrition Break for students in Grade 1-4.  Remember to run as many laps as you can to help your class earn the golden sneakers.  The class with the most popsicle sticks will get to keep the Golden Sneakers in their classroom for the week.  Last week’s winners with 129 popsicles sticks which equals 32 Kilometres is Mrs. Herron’s class.  Congratulations to Mrs. Herron’s Grade 3s!
