Letter to families

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,

G.L. Armstrong Elementary School staff became aware of concerning and potentially threatening comments posted online.

Following our Safe Schools protocol, school administration took immediate action including contacting Hamilton Police.

Hamilton Police determined that at this time there is no continued risk to students and staff in relation to this incident.

Due to our responsibility for student privacy, we are unable to share details about the visit.

We share this information in case there are questions at home.
