Unexpected Fire Alarm – Everyone Safe

Dear families,

Today, our school experienced an unexpected fire alarm. We want to reassure all families that this was a false alarm, and at no point was there any danger to students or staff.

As always, we followed our fire evacuation procedures immediately. The fire department arrived within minutes, which greatly minimized the amount of time our students needed to be outside, especially helpful given the extremely cold temperatures today.

All students and staff were safely back inside the building and warm in less than 10 minutes.

We appreciate the calm cooperation shown by our school community during today’s incident. While false alarms can be disruptive, they also reinforce the importance of following safety routines quickly and consistently so we are prepared for any situation.
