Year End Communication

As we come to the end of another positive and exciting year at Frank Panabaker, we would like to share some important information and dates with our families. 

Retirements & Staffing 

We wish to congratulate Mme Dina Cadete and Ms. Karen Downey on their retirement. Mme Cadete and Ms. Downey have demonstrated excellence over their lengthy careers as educators. They have nurtured and fostered the academic and social growth of countless students and successfully mentored many educators over the years. We will miss having them as part of our Frank Panabaker team but wish them all the best as they enter a new and exciting phase. 

The school staffing process continues over the coming weeks and months and our office will update staff information and positions on our website during the week of August 28^th.  

Report Cards 

Report cards will be sent home with students on Tuesday, June 27^th. The last school day for students is Wednesday, June 28^th.  

Class Placements for September 2023 

It is important for families to know that the caring staff at Frank Panabaker School engage in a lengthy and thoughtful process to determine class placements that will support student success and achievement. Many factors, including current and potential relationships that impact multiple students, are taken into consideration and once class placement is determined, no changes will be made.  

Class placements for September 2023 can be found in the Parent Portal beginning the week of August 28^th.  Please check the portal on or after this date to find this information.  

Please note that at times, HWDSB needs to reorganize classes in late fall. If this is to take place at our school, we will notify families in a timely manner. 

The staff at Frank Panabaker School wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible students and to our parents and caregivers for their continuous support and partnership in our children’s education. We wish each family an enjoyable and relaxing summer and we are looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!
