Safe School Reminders To All Families

Good day Frank Panabaker families:

Here are some friendly reminders to all families regarding HWDSB’s COVID Protocol:

At Home

It is important that all families complete the morning screenings, before sending your children to school.

Here is a flowchart for you to use when your child displays a symptom from the screening that you do each morning: COVID At Home Protocol

At School

When at school, your child may exhibit a symptom.  At that point we need to follow this flow chart: COVID At School Protocol

If a student has a symptom that is normal for them related to a known cause or condition, parents/guardians/caregivers are asked to provide this information to the school as early as possible.  For example, a student who has seasonal allergies might normally display sneezing/coughing or a runny nose.  If we do not know this and the student states they have, sneezing/coughing or a runny nose, then we will have to follow the COVID At School Protocol flow chart. Please email the school at [email protected] (South Campus) or [email protected] (North Campus) if your child has a known cause or condition that would display itself as a symptom.  In your email, please include your child’s name, cause, or condition, and what symptoms they would normally display.
