Friday, Jan 17 Assembly- Hometown Hockey

We are excited to have The Hometown Hockey Touring Team come visit our students and school on Friday, Jan. 17th. Our grades 4-8 students will attend an assembly in the gym from 10:45 am – 12 pm. Special guests will include, Kyle Buttenham, Hometown Hockey, and Sarah Nurse and Laura Fortino from the Canadian National Women’s Ice Hockey Team.

At our north site, our FDK- Grade 3 students will be entertained by author and past broadcaster, Lisa Bowes, who will share her children’s book, Lucy Tries Hockey.

Please note, these assemblies are only for the students of Frank Panabaker School.

This school visit is to kick off The Roger’s Hometown Hockey event and help build the excitement around the weekend events, all of which are happening at Morgan Firestone Arena (back lot) on Sat. Jan 18th and 19th. Hometown Hockey invites the community to join in on the weekend events at Morgan Firestone Arena.
