Secure Schools Practice Drill (Lockdown) on Tuesday,November 17th.

Dear Dundas Central School Families,

We are writing to inform you that our school will be holding a secure schools protocol drill, (Lockdown) on Tuesday, November 17^th, 2020 so that staff and students are prepared in case of an emergency.  Staff will be reviewing the protocol with our students prior to the drill.  This year due to public health measures, all students will remain in their desk seats during the practise lockdown drill.

The drill may involve a visit by members of the Hamilton Police Service on this date. We appreciate the co-operation of our students and staff during the drill.

It is also important that we all remain aware of secure schools terminology used in all of Ontario’s publicly funded schools.
