Principal Announcement

Dear parents,

I am writing to inform you that as of December 7, I will be serving as Principal of both Dundas Central and Yorkview Elementary Schools. The current Principal at Yorkview is transferring to serve as System Principal, Equity for HWDSB. The two schools will remain as separate schools with respect to operations, staffing and school councils.

I will be joined by Ms. Suzana Milinovich, who will serve as Vice-Principal and on-site administrator at Yorkview beginning December 7. With Ms. Milinovich at Yorkview, it allows me to remain on-site at Dundas Central.

As Yorkview students attend Dundas Central beginning in Grade 6, this change allows us to enhance further students’ transition, as they will be familiar with school expectations.

I want to thank staff, students, and families in advance for your support and encouragement during the transition in December.
