Dundana Update

A big thank you to all of our Dundana families who have been working this week to get your child(ren) set up for on-line learning again.  The staff here all appreciate everything you are doing to help your child be supported both for their academics and their well being.  Please reach out to your child’s educator if there are concerns, questions or issues that we can try to help with to make the transition a little smoother.

Dundana Spirit Wear

Our spirit wear order is due to arrive at the school late next week and we are looking at pick up opportunities in early May.  You will receive an email directly if you/your child placed an order with arrangements to receive your items.

Adapting to Online Learning

Educators at Dundana will be working with the students this week during class time to remind students of appropriate on line behaviour in class.  Here are some resources you may wish to review, for your own knowledge or to support your child with their learning:

Technical Support

At times, students and families may need some guidance to navigate the tech or the tech tools used for online learning.  This online resource outlines many common issues and can be a good first step in solving problems that arise:

Attendance Discrepancies

Our educators will be taking attendance twice a day during this period of online learning.  If your child’s attendance is not accurate or if you are unable to enter/alter an absence for your child in the attendance management system, please email Mrs. Bentley at [email protected]  .

Contacting the School

Dundana’s telephones may not be answered regularly during this period of online learning.  Questions and concerns about your child’s program should first be directed to the child’s educators.  General inquiries can be directed to [email protected] or [email protected]
