Parent volunteers are welcome to help out with this years project. The Art of Storytelling: workshops that explore the Cree creation story, and its different characters. Iskwé will facilitate students re-creating their own version in small groups based on what we learn together as a whole. This workshop is in two-parts as time is needed to learn the story and characters, learn tools to tell stories, and then spend time in our groups creating a new edition of the old tale! Each student will have the opportunity to develop a character relating to the story for themselves and create a prop or small puppet during the workshop for use during the telling.
