Remembrance Day Ceremony

Hello Cootes Families

The weather held its rain just long enough for us to honour Remembrance Day.  Thank you to all of our caring adults and families who joined us in the back playground.  A huge thank you also goes to McMaster University’s student Nicole who played the Last Post for us and to the 14th Hamilton Brownie/Guide Unit for their beautiful commemorative wreath.  It was our first whole school Remembrance Day gathering and we were thankful to be able to reflect as a school community.  Please enjoy some pictures of our ceremony and our wall of wreaths with contributions from each of our classes.
