Month of June Update

Hello Families!

With the month of June upon us, it is hard to believe that the end of the school year is fast approaching.  We would like to remind families about the importance of accessing the events tab on our website.  This tab will list all of the upcoming events that are taking place at our school in the upcoming few weeks.  Here are a few highlights for the month:

• Move & Groove is taking place on June 10^th. Please come prepared with running shoes as students will be engaged in various outdoor activities
• Bake Sale by Mme Titian’s Class June 10th.  Bring your change and enjoy some treats!
• Grade 5 year end trip will take place on June 8^th.
• Grade 5 Farewell will take place on June 23^rd.
• Reports cards will be sent home on June 27^th.
• The last day before summer break is June 29^th.

Outdoor Play

As the warm weather approaches, a reminder to our families that safety is a priority during outdoor play.  If your child wishes to bring equipment to school (ie balls), the balls must be soft nerf type ones.  Leather soccer balls are not permitted.  Basket-balls are only permitted at the basketball court.  Water or squirt guns/equipment are also not permitted.

2022-2023 Class & Teacher Assignments

The process for class building and placement is one that is rooted in deep reflection about the strengths, needs and lived experiences of every student.  We continue to work on developing classrooms that focus on creating the most effective learning conditions for our students.  You will be able to access the name of your child’s teacher in the Parent Portal the last week of August.
