Home & School Executive Volunteers Needed

The Home & School Association plays a pivotol role in supporting the school community by providing a forum for parents, teachers, and principals to share their points of view.  Specifically, the Home & School Association provides:

– A communications link with other parents in the community
– A source of information about education and other issues which affect young people
– A self directed group, not dependant on the school staff’s initiative and time
– A professional development opportunity for parents
– A provincially recognized voice for parents with students in Ontario’s public schools
– A connection with your local school board through the Home & School Council

With the school year coming to a close Home and School has four executive positions open for next year: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. If there isn’t a full executive then Home and School will have to fold. Please consider volunteering. If interested please send an email to [email protected] the school year coming to a close.
